While there seem to be no studies specifically related to marijuana, many
agents which impair learning such as physical injury, oxygen deprivation,
and barbiturates have been shown to be mediated by
piracetam
. There are
good reasons to believe that marijuana memory impairment would also show
mediation, but marijuana research is not sufficiently respectable these
days to warrant "serious" effort. This is regrettable. Although there are
anecdotal reports in the "popular" literature which suggests that
piracetam
mediates marijuana memory impairment, this is utterly
unscientific and should not be used as a reason for taking
piracetam
.
